Adding Life to the Life Science Classroom

It only seems right that a life science laboratory/classroom should have some, well...LIFE in it. To start what we hope to eventually become a collection of living things, we are happy to introduce our three Eastern Toads. Names are still being debated, but here is a picture of our docile new friends.

Our toads like to eat mealworms, crickets, and pretty much any insect they can chomp onto. They get most of their water from moisture in their surroundings, and sometimes soak in their pool at night. Since they are nocturnal, we have to find them in their hiding spots to see them during the day. We think they are pretty darn cute! What do you think?
